The most recent addition to our software is the ability to share videos from our Online TV portal, throughout social networking sites. Social networking has now become very much a mainstream activity for UK internet users of all ages. Statistics have shown that in May 2009, 80% of all the UK’s online population visited a social networking site and that overall; the average UK internet user spends 4.6 hours on Social Networking sites over a one month period. This perfectly demonstrates how having this feature built in to our Online TV Portal, will work to overall increase the reach of our client’s videos.
The ability to share videos, with social networking sites, is not the only new feature we have incorporated into our Online TV Portal. We have also developed additional features which will increase the scope of our client’s videos. On each video, the user will be given an option to embed mini players of the chosen video in to any website and use the encrypted link to add in to their emails. The mini players will then play short clips of the chosen video and when a visitor chooses to click on them, it will take them directly to our client’s Online TV portal. This feature is just another example of how we are constantly enhancing our software, to help drive traffic towards our client’s Online TV Portals.
