Rob Jordan, founder of Track Field and Road, aims to provide a resource that will keep runners on the road, healthy, trained and informed. Rob, a member of Tewkesbury AC, and avid distance runner seeks to capitalize on the interest and business that the 2012 Olympics will bring to Britain.

“My aim is to attract everyone: from beginner to medal winners, from grass roots up to the professionals. Running has many benefits, it's relaxing, healthy, relieves stress, enjoyable, and it's sociable.”

Track, Field and Road is an inclusive online TV resource for athletes across all abilities. Rob’s aim is to inspire joggers, enthusiastic amateurs and semi professionals to create a community which, in turn, will stimulate a growth in the number of professional runners Britain produces.

“With the Olympics approaching I thought I’d combine my interests in sports and the media to support the athletes that represent GB and hopefully inspire other people to have a go at some form of athletics.”

Visitors to will see interviews, video diaries, events coverage and educational videos presented in clearly defined channels, easing the viewers search for their chosen topic. The videos may contain advice on running techniques; promotional videos for events, suppliers and facilities; health advice from dieticians or physiotherapists or perhaps even interviews from world class athletes.

Currently, Track Field and Road’s TV channels are being populated by videos sent in by runners of all abilities. Robs intention is to make the portal an inclusive environment for all, young and old, amateur and professional. Rob’s possible sponsors for the site include shoe manufacturers, clothing retailers, drink suppliers, anyone who has a link to the athletic field.

He is excited about the possibilities the portal will bring for grassroots athletics in Britain and our Life On Show.TV portal is the ideal platform for Rob’s ambitions.
